Dianne McCune began her “career” as a Navy wife with her husband in Japan, taking advantage of the Navy’s call to “see the world.” After several moves, she ended up in northern Virginia with three children. Only after they were all in school did she start working outside the home as a government contractor supporting military and intelligence agencies. The work included a variety of projects – editing classified and unclassified technical documents – and travel – planning and running customer events – that kept things interesting.
