  • Mindy Sircus - Board Chair

    Mindy is Managing Director at Major, Lindsey & Africa. She previously was Principal at Zenner Consulting Group, LLC and was a Partner at Neal, Gerber & Eisenberg LLP.

    For nearly 22 years, Mindy has been present and attuned to helping others understand, identify potential paths for, and achieve their professional objectives and passions. Mindy has placed General Counsels of Fortune 200 companies through Counsels at privately-held companies.

    She has a BS in Finance from Wharton and a JD from Northwestern.

  • Steve Parker - Director

    Steve retired as a partner at Arnold & Porter, an international law firm, after 32 years of law practice. He represented non-profits, private and public companies, and investors in a wide variety of areas, including corporate governance, public/private partnerships and licensing. Steve was nationally recognized for many years as a leading expert in his field.

    Steve’s work often involved public policy issues, which led him to retire early to pursue public private partnership work in youth mentoring and career development.

    He has been involved in youth mentoring since he was a teenager running a summer youth sailing program, and has been active for decades in youth ministry. Steve is a mentor and volunteers for organizations such as icouldbe, Undaunted Futures and Harraseeket.

    Steve has a BA from Dartmouth College and a JD from Cornell Law School.

  • Paul Shiffman - -Director and Co-Founder

    Paul is a founding director of The Harraseeket Foundation and was Chairman from 2010 to 2018 and President and Treasurer from 2010 to 2016.

    Paul also was a founding director of Chain Bridge Bancorp and Chain Bridge Bank, N.A. of McLean, Va., and was four many years Vice Chairman of the Board of Chain Bridge Bancorp. He is Vice President of Shiffman & Shiffman, PC, and a litigator with extensive trial experience in state and federal courts in the District of Columbia and Virginia. He is admitted to the District of Columbia Bar, the Virginia Bar, the US Supreme Court, the Virginia Supreme Court, the Military Court of Justice, the US Court of Appeals and the US Court of Claims.

    Paul also was an adjunct professor at American University’s Washington College of Law and a past trustee of Landon School in Bethesda, MD. He is a member of the Cosmos Club and the United States Supreme Court Historical Society.

  • George Kimball - Director

    George has taught a University of Michigan Law School since 2015. His more than four decades in law practice, including partnerships in leading law firms, service as associate general counsel to a major technology company, and several years in boutique practice in Los Angeles. Primarily a technology lawyer since the mid-Nineties, his overall experience includes trials and appeals in commercial and constitutional cases, international transactions and disputes, real estate and corporate transactions and public contracts.

    Oxford University Press published his first book, Outsourcing Agreements: A Practical Guide, in 2010. He has been ranked as a leader in his field by Chambers and Legal 500; admitted to practice in California, Michigan and New York; and before the US Supreme Court. George is a graduate of UCLA, University College London, and the University of Michigan Law School.

  • Lynley Ogilvie - Director and Corporate Secretary

    Lynley is the owner of Lynley Ogilvie Landscape Design LLC.

    Previously she was Associate General Counsel of APCO Worldwide Inc., a lawyer at Latham & Watkins, and a member of the staff of Senator John D. Rockefeller.

    She graduated from Harvard College and University of Virginia Law School.

  • Wally Hamsher - Treasurer

    Wally is a CPA with over 50 years’ experience.

    He was a youth track coach for the McLean Youth organization for 13 years and during that time was recognized one year by the community as McLean Citizen of the Year. He has helped organize and participate in yearly Habitat for Humanity missions for church youth for more than 20 years.

    Wally also has been involved in Martin Luther King’s I Have a Dream Foundation where he tutored and mentored at-risk minority youth for 10 years.
